Still going strong after 20 years in Soi 4, Thursday 14th June was the 20th Birthday Party for The Telephone Pub. An 'Institution' in itself, a mainstay and favourite of Bangkok's Gay Scene since 1987; Telephone threw a dazzling celebration. Regular customers and well wishers from Bangkok’s Gay Community all raised their glasses as a toast to the next 20 years."

" Monday 28 May was the 13th Birthday of the stylish and very popular Tapas Room Club. Complimentary cocktails were available to the regular customers who had all turned out to enjoy the party. Entertainment was provided by giant drums and gongs together with Tapas’s own house DJ’s."

The crowd of eager well-wishers that filled the Telephone Pub, most of the Soi and also many neighbouring bars saw nearly thirty contestants line up for a wide selection of trophies and cash awards. Pink Party :
The annual Silom Soi 4 charity event "The Pink Party" took place on Thursday 10 May. Proceeds from this year's party will benefit Wat Phra Baht Nam Phu (The AIDS Temple) in Lopburi. A capacity crowd saw live singers and dancers, a swimsit parade, a limbo contest sponsored by Pepe Lopez Tequila and the ever popular Miss and Mr. Pink contests sponsored by Leo Beer. The night concluded with a lucky draw with gifts donated by all the venues in Soi 4.

Balcony's Birthday

"Not for the Faint-Hearted. A couple of photos from Songkran 2007 in Silom Soi 4 show that the Soi maintains its reputation as one of the premier nightlife districts of Bangkok. Songkran is always good fun in Soi 4 but be prepared to get very, very wet".

Every Wednesday Night at 11.30pm Luminous puts on a show of Break Dancing in the Soi. Even if Rap and Break Dancing are not your thing, the dancers give an athletic, acrobatic and highly professional display that is well worth dropping by to see.

Easter Bar B Q :
"A selection of pictures from The Balcony's Easter Celebrations held on Sunday 8th April.
It was a splendid afternoon and evening with over 30 Balcony members arriving between 4.00pm and 6.00pm to partake in the Free Bar-B-Q of pork steaks, chicken, sausage, burgers, baked potatoes and lots of fresh salads.
At 6.00pm we held the Easter Bonnet Contest with 3 cash prizes awarded by the judges for the best hats and throughout the very busy night customers were able to take a lucky-dip to find Chocolate Cream Easter Eggs.
As usual on special occasions, Soi 4 was The place to be and the staff, who eventually finished at 2.00am, can now look forward to a five day break at Songkran"
